HILL VALLEY SNAPSHOTS
Marvin Berry @ We're going back event.
Welcome to the City of Hill Valley
Hello everyone and welcome everybody to the wonderful Hill Valley City.com. Remember when you first saw Back to the Future, what was your reaction? Did you see it more than one time in the theater? If so then you've come to the right place. My name is Michael and I am a Back to the Future Fanatic. I want to dedicate this site to ALL the fans across the globe who love Back to the Future. I even used the template from USA Today newspapers that appeared in Part II as my home page format. I want every BTTF fan to keep Back to the future legacy going. I go by the name "FuturistiQ" in BTTF.com forum and also made another BTTF site called "bttf2theinfinite.com" back in 2003 (with a Mattel board layout). This is my second site and I hope you will enjoy this site.
Please scroll through this site to start exploring our great City of Hill Valley. You can find out about the history of Hill Valley.
You can go to our Hill Valley Museum to view the fantastic screen used Back to the Future props collections & exhibits. If you plan to visit the real Hill Valley locations, please come here and you can use our interactive map to find all the information you need for each location before your visit. If you complete the whole Hill Valley experience and want to bring home some souvenirs, please come to our store to pick your own favorite gifts. Lastly should you have any questions or comments please do not hesitate and leave me a message here. For Mandarin version please click here.

Welcome to the City of Hill Valley- A very nice place to live indeed! Mayor Goldie Wilson Jr. and myself, Michael Chien, Vice Mayor of Hill Valley (I made the site so I can be whatever I want) would like to invite you to take an exciting journey to explore this wonderful city in Northern California. The City of Hill Valley was established in 1865. Since then this city has become one of the most beautiful locations to reside for many Americans. There are many famous residents who live in Hill Valley: our eccentric but ingenious inventor, Dr. Emmett Brown or the brave, clever and musically talented Marty McFly, and even the infamously wicked Biff Tannen (and his entire lineage) all live here in Hill Valley.
Icons of Hollywood Auction
Profiles in History did it again. But this time is one of the greatest Back to the Future props & costumes auction, EVER.
Many pieces were offered for “Icons of Hollywood Auction (December 15~17)” this past December, such as Marty’s 50s style jacket (I want that soooo badly!), Biff’s shirt, Nike bag (where future Nike Air Mags were taken out from in Back to the Future Part II), Mattel Hoverboard, many Hill Valley Telegraph Newspapers and even the screen used Time Machine!
Some sold for big bucks: screen used Time Machine went for a staggering price of $440,000. Marty’s jacket was sold for $30,000 (that is ten times more than the price I saw back in the day). Marty’s Eastwood hat went for $19,000 (I better hang on to mine :P).
What's even crazier is that the same buyer bought all the items I mentioned above. Please check it out here.

I didn’t bid because my wife was nagging the whole time, although I should because many pieces went for very cheap price. I wish I can my hands on some cool props or costumes…sigh…

Nike Air Mags
"This project is exciting to me because it brings together three very passionate audiences: the Parkinson's community, the sneakerheads and Back to the Future fans." - Michael J. Fox
Back when Back to the Future Part II came out, this pair of Nike Air Mags drew a lot of attention. Many kids wanted a pair (including myself). It’s one of the iconic props from the classic trilogy.
Nike began selling their 1500 pairs on eBay on September 9 (ended on September 18). The net profit all went to Michael J Fox’s Parkinson’s Research Foundation. Google’s co-founder, Sergey Brin and his wife Anne Wojcick mentioned that they will match the bids up to $50 million dollars (somebody just got way too much cash to spend). The average final bid was $3000 but a British rapper bought the first pair for $37500 (insane dude!).
I would’ve bid on it if I had extra cash. But again I’d rather spend my money on a real screen used prop or costume because nothing beats the feeling of owning a piece of cinema history (not to mention it is the GREATEST trilogy EVER mad!).
Please check out my “Souvenir shop” to download the Nike Air Mags commercial.

Doc's Recent Gigs
Where is Doc Brown these days?
The answer is: Argentina.
Christopher Lloyd once again reprised his role as Doc Brown as he somehow drove his time machine and crashed into an electronic store called “Garbarino” in Argentina. The whole incident was supposedly “captured” on camera by a local couple.
Besides the fact that we get to see Christopher Lloyd as Doc Brown (Which is a total blast) again, I kind of don’t understand what this whole thing meant. Some people said that it’s a hint for Back to the Future 4 but of course I doubt that will ever happen (and please no remakes). Some said it is part of some viral campaign although I don’t see what the campaign is it for. No matter what you have to admit seeing Christopher Lloyd as Doc Brown is just great.
Please go to my “Souvenir shop” to download the videos. Also you can see another Garbarino Christmas commercial there too.
